to get closer to achieving one's dream:夢に近づくために


To get closer to achieving my dream,
I am attending a four day long seminar, six hours per day,
which is held on two weekends spaced two weeks apart.

The seminar is held for English teachers in the same month every year.
Actaully I attended it last year.

There were many renowned teachers from all over Japan in the seminar again this year
and I was seemed to be out of place a bit since I didn’t have any titles
except “normal English teacher”.

I was very inspired and motivated by other intelligent teachers.
At the same time,
I was devastated by them, because I realized while I was talking with them that
my English ability was poor and I had a shallow knowledge of teaching skills.

However, I won't give up on improving as a teacher.
All I have to do is challenge myself.
